NEMA 3R Rain Test

Enclosures constructed for outdoor use should provide a degree of protection to personnel against access to hazardous parts; to provide a degree of protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against ingress of solid foreign objects. It shall also provide a degree of protection with respect to harmful effects on the equipment due to the ingress of water (rain, sleet, snow); and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

Heat Rise Test

The foundation of the basic principles of heating and cooling critical parts and connections within the tap box to understand how the heat is generated and how the heat is dissipated to produce the final wire or device temperature that meets the code, standards and reliability requirements of the equipment.

Short Circuit Testing
